Album Covers is an inclusive community night where performers of all abilities can sign up to sing a track from a classic album.
Performers will play the album from start to finish – plus a selection of other classic tracks from the same genre/era (if there’s time!)
The lyrics will be projected on the wall and everyone is welcome to sing along with the choruses. It’s a super relaxed and non-judgey night!—
Well we set the party bar pretty high for ourselves with Abba Gold last time, so we’ve collectively chosen to reclaim our moodier side by covering what is probably the best collection of singles of the 80s/90s – The Cure – Staring at the Sea.
Cure purists will note this is the 17 track CD version (Staring at the Sea) not the 13 track vinyl version (Standing on the Beach.)

As usually it’ll be ‘doors’ at 7.30, and kicking off exactly at 8pm. We also have pretty limited seating, so come down as early as you can to get a good spot!

What to ExpectAlbum Covers is a community night – so it’s NOT like going to see a covers band.
Expect quirky, cut down and alternative performances of classic tunes, delivered by amazing but (mostly) amateur performers.
We’ve worked hard to create a welcoming, non-judgey environment where many people have sung or performed publicly for the first time. We’re very proud of how nice everyone is, and how much we support each other.
