WELCOME!!!
On Halloween “I Don’t Wanna Be a Girlboss Anymore ;(“ is going to be released out into the world and I chose this date because what is more scarier than a… girlboss. Ikr.
On the first of November at the Fox and Newt we are freshly celebrating this first single release to my concept album;
The story behind the whole concept album “Hopelessly Optimistic” begins in a dark place of being burnout and brainwashed, which gradually unravels into darker topics the world needs to hear, yet this sound always carries a thread of hope beneath the chaos. By the middle of the album, we reach a turning point – a moment of escape, renewal, and rediscovery – where light finally begins to break through.
This is fully coming out in June 2026 with singles being released every month from now till then. Follow the journey by following the Instagram and the Spotify link to get fresh notifications of releases.
“I don’t want to be a girlboss anymore ;(” came from a time of exhaustion, when I was following the expected narrative to “keep grinding”, and it finally pushed me over the edge! I wrote the song at the end of my third year of university, I was completely burnt out and questioning everything I believed about success and self-worth. Around that time, I was watching a TV series called “Severance”, which reflected the same ideas and beliefs: that our obsession with a constant need for productivity is far more dystopian and damaging than we would like to admit. Through this song, I want to challenge the normalisation of exhaustion, promote self-worth and join my voice to a growing movement that says “I don’t want to be a girlboss anymore”.
And the Amazing MYA Mistry will be warming us up She is also doing some amazing things so go follow her Instagram and check her out.
Come join MYA, me and my band on the 1st of November. See you there!
I’m a hopeless optimist in a hopeless world, using my music to shine energetically through this darkness, sparking new ideas and illuminating hidden truths, bringing upbeat pop melodies and harmonious emotion to a world that’s lost its light.
