Featuring:
Flo Averey – an indie pop / folk artist based in Leeds, whose songwriting combines poetic lyrics with elegant and catchy melodies to create a dreamy, vibrant sound. Inspired by the likes of Boygenius, Lizzy Mcalpine and Adrianne Lenker, she immerses the listener in a musical narrative through storytelling brought to life by her 5 piece band lineup.
Grace Price – a fresh voice on the indie folk scene, Grace is inspired by the likes of Big Thief and Madison Cunningham. Her heartfelt tracks have featured on BBC Radio 1, and been described as reminiscent of ‘a young Laura Marling’.
Sam Medforth – a solo acoustic act who plays original folk songs with country influence. He gets his inspiration from artists such as Bob Dylan, Gregory Alan Isakov, Bruce Springsteen amongst many more. He enjoys writing songs that are reminiscent of the old folk songs of the 60s whilst remaining modern and deeply personal.
Tickets £6 advance, £8 on the day/door – but also NOTAFLOF (just come say hello on the night.)
Doors at 8, bands soon after, all done by 10ish.
