Not a thing. X Symmetrical Feelings present…
Patches at Fox & Newt, Leeds – a monthly open genre night featuring (mostly) new and local bands.
Friday 27th February 2026 – 20:00 til 22:00ish
Featuring:
Lavender Grey -a queer rock band born and raised in the North, emerging from the unapologetic rebellion and nostalgia of the early 2000s. With anthemic vocals and a ‘say it how it is’ attitude, The band embrace both vulnerability and strength, channelling resistance in every performance.
Regulars at Leeds DIY stronghold Wharf Chambers, their standout shows include Brudenell Social Club, Oporto, 1in12 Club (Bradford), Alder Bar and Cheap Dates (Sheffield). Lavender Gray commands every crowd turning personal rage into collective catharsis – they are impossible to ignore.
Porclares – a four-piece Leeds based band, made up of Tess and Joe, two guitarists who are both unique songwriters and excellent vocalists in their own right, and Joel (bass) and Lorcan (drums) providing a solid backbone to the songs. Their inspirations include, not are not limited to, Big Thief, The Smiths, Fontaines, Elliott Smith, the weird wide world and their hatred for AI generated ‘art’.
Porclares implement tasteful harmonies, thought provoking lyrics, radical grooves and eyebrow raising chords as they attempt to cultivate an original sound.
+ an opening set by Tiny Rebel
Tickets £6 advance, £8 on the day/door – but also NOTAFLOF (just come say hello on the night.)
Doors at 8, bands soon after, all done by 10ish.
