Bold as Brass

Bold as Brass is an upbeat night of jazz, funk, soul, afrobeat, psych, dub, Balkan and whatever else fits. Each one has four acts, usually three from Leeds and one from out of town, with a mix of new and established bands.

It happens in the basement at Hyde Park Book Club, a 150 capacity room with a good sound system and usually its own bar. Doors are at 7.30, the bands start at 8 and it’s all done by 11.
