RunningThe Joint is a weekly night at Sela Bar run entirely by paid student promoters, who build each line-up from their own local scene. If you want to hear the newest local acts, you can drop into Sela on any Tuesday and hear something fresh.
For 2026/27 there are four promoters, from Leeds Conservatoire, Leeds Beckett University, the University of Leeds and Leeds Arts University. Each one looks after one Tuesday a month and books and announces their own line-ups.
Getting in: Sela Bar is a basement reached by a narrow flight of 16 stairs, with no step-free access. The toilets are up another narrow flight of 17 stairs.
